These are close ups of the projections the Artists Meeting group did for the September 2007 dumbo arts festival. The projections are onto the siide of the manhattan bridge using two 30,000 lumins projectors. Lara Star Martini is wearing a portable honeytone belt clip amplifier. the sound mix for the projections was playing through these amplifiers. Lara was one of eight people with belt clip amplifiers who walked around during the projections.
This is the random mix video projected for the Dumbo Arts Festival. It has text from the groups email exchanges. All Artists Meeting members contributed clips and they were randomly selcted for the final edit. Ursula Endlicher came up with the idea of discussing why to collaborate and use the discussion as part of the process.
This was our first projection piece for the dumbo arts festival in Brooklyn. We projected two thirty by forty foot videos onto the side of the Mahattan Bridge Anchorage. Chris Borkowski and Lee Wells were VJ-ing for three nights. Chris had created a custom max msp patch that would random select and display videos. There was also a text overlay module for instant messaging.
